Mike Buyskes Construction was selected, amongst seven other companies, to construct The Fairway Hotel, Conference Centre and Spa.

The project comprised the erection of 62 rooms, 7 villas, a spa, a gatehouse, site works and parking of an approximate area of 7073 m² over the course of 12 months. The total value of construction came to R135 million (excl. VAT).

This was a fast-track project and Buyskes Construction performed exceptionally well under an immense amount of pressure, to ensure timeous completion. Given the circumstances they acquitted themselves remarkably well.

This company recently completed our Silver Lakes Project on time and under budget, value approximately R120 million. This was the second major construction project which they completed for our group.

In addition we have known Mike Buyskes and his company as a client in Pretoria for 30 years and their large account is always paid strictly in 30 days.

After the completion of the Silver Lakes project we hosted a black tie celebratory dinner to thank them for the energy and effort that they put into our project. They were a pleasure to work with.

During early 2010 Bokomo Foods awarded the tender to construct a new factory at the Clayville premises to Mike Buyskes Construction. The value of this contract was in the excess of R50 million.

The project was completed within the agreed time and budget constraints. The second phase of the site development was also awarded to Mike Buyskes Construction and this was also executed to the satisfaction of the client.

We have in the past been involved with Messrs Mike Buyskes Construction as the Main Building Contractors on Two (2) Projects, namely:

• FH Chamberlain Trading, Montana Branch, Pretoria-North - completed in 2009.
• FH Chamberlain Trading, new Silver Lakes Branch, Pretoria-East - recently completed in 2012.

6. Insight into time constraints and progress required was generally good and their enthusiasm and willingness to resolve any matters with the Client and Consultants was appreciated.

Both Projects were successfully completed, on Programme and within budget and to the satisfaction of the Client and Consultants Team. We therefore have no doubt I recommending or giving Messrs Mike Buyskes Construction a positive referral.

MBC were the Main Contractors on a Stay Easy Hotel for the Southern Sun in Witbank.
The hotel is a concrete framed structure with concrete floors, cavity brick walls, and crammed full of services such as full airconditioning, smoke detection, sprinklers etc. requiring a great deal of detailed programming and coordination.

The contract was carried out professionally, within a tight programme and produced a building with a good standard of finish.
